Cant del corlo

Cant del corlo is a concept album about seasons. The four tracks, like the four seasons, correspond to the parts of life: spring is childhood, summer is youth, autumn is maturity and winter is old age. An introduction and a conclusion open and close the album, creating a circular structure that stands, as the wheel does, for the eternal circle of time and life.

Time is the only force we still cannot control. It escapes us and somehow makes us all equal, wiping away every distinction. The spinning wheel, corlo in our dialect, becomes the symbol of this eternal circle, making and undoing the skeins of wool as time creates and destroys the lives of people.
